Dude, there are 17 world-class ski resorts at Lake Tahoe, a quick two-hour drive from your Davis apartment. You can downhill, cross-country, or ‘board all day at your favorite Tahoe ski resort and still be home in plenty of time to cram for your mid-term or have dinner with your grandmother.

What are some cool things to do in Sacramento or Davis in the summer?

If you’re not slaving away in summer school, a lot of Davis-ites like to play in or around the water. We already mentioned the five public pools in town. If you like algae in your swimming water, there are many rivers that flow nearby (American, Sacramento, Consumnes) your Davis apartment rental. Opportunities abound to take a slow-paced self-guided tour or a more adrenalin-fueled guided tour down them.
