Success: 17-Year Old Student Rejects University's Rejection Letter.

Many students have been there, getting a rejection letter from a college or university that’s a heartbreaker.

Reece O’Dell didn’t accept that rejection. She fired off her own rejection letter of Duke’s rejection letter. According to CNN.com:

“Thank you for your rejection letter of March 26, 2015,” O’Dell writes in a letter addressed to Duke University Admissions. “After careful consideration, I regret to inform you that I am unable to accept your refusal to offer me admission into the Fall 2015 freshman class at Duke.”

While Duke took her rejection in stride, even offering her a longshot chance to appeal their decision, may we offer an alternative suggestion?

Why not come to glorious UC Davis?  The school is awesome and Tandem Properties has some great apartments close to campus that are still available for Fall 2015.
