Terry Evans Palms Playhouse, Winters CA Terry Evans is one of the most dynamic old school soul and blues singers performing today. Evans has been performing since the 1960’s, performing great originals and classic soul and blues standards. After growing up in Mississippi, where he sang both gospel and blues, he moved to Los Angeles where he became one of LA’s foremost session vocalists, soon working with such artists as John Fogerty, Joan Armatrading, John Lee Hooker, Boz Scaggs, Maria Muldaur, Pops Staples among many others.
