UC Davis Homecoming Week Planner – October 4th-7th
This is Homecoming Week and UC Davis is pulling out all the stops! The fun starts on Monday October 1st, and runs all the way through the weekend. Here are some of our favorite activities.
Get your free limited edition Aggie Pride hat at Chamber Day on the Quad October 4th. Come one, come all, but only while supplies last!
Thursday, October 4th
• Chamber Day on the Quad: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. East Quad More than 100 local businesses will host booths to introduce themselves to students and the campus community. Get your special edition Aggie Pride cap while supplies last!
Friday, October 5
• Aggie Pride Friday – get caught wearing UC Davis gear by the Aggie Pack Prize Patrol for awesome swag! The Aggie Pack Prize Patrol will be on campus between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Men’s Soccer vs. UC Riverside – Aggie Soccer Field – 4 p.m. (Tickets) (Promotions)
• 100th Pajamarino – Davis Train Station – 5:30 p.m.
Aggies past, present and future enjoy the Pajamarino at the Davis train station 5:30 October 5th. There’s free food, ice cream, band music and cheerleading!
Our favorite event over homecoming weekend is the Pajamarino on Friday evening. 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of this uniquely UC Davis tradition. As you can see in the photos, “kids” of all ages gather in their pajamas at the downtown Davis train station where they hang out with the wildly costumed UC Davis Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh, Aggie cheerleaders, students, and townies to greet each train full of visiting alumni as they pull into the station. There is free food, drinks, sometimes candy (we are closing in on Halloween, after all), and lots of shwag for the most creatively dressed pajama-clad attendees.
• Get ready for game day with a special Tailgating themed dinner at the UC Davis Dining Commons
• Homecoming Pre-Party at Gunrock Pub – 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Come and enjoy campus produced foods!
Get your special edition Homecoming Aggie Pride t-shirt at the Homecoming Game October 6th. Kickoff is at 4PM.
Saturday, October 6
• Football vs. Montana State – Aggie Stadium – 4 p.m. (Tickets) (Promotions)
• Wine Tasting with the Aggies – Lot 56, Aggie Stadium – 1 p.m.
• Men’s Tennis Aggie Invitational – Marya Welch Tennis Complex – All Day
Sunday, October 7
• Men’s Water Polo vs. UCLA – Schaal Aquatics Complex – 1 p.m. (Tickets)
• Men’s Soccer vs. UC Riverside – Aggie Soccer Field – 4 p.m. (Tickets) (Promotions)
