Woodland's Rose Garden Tour is This Sunday

With apologies to Oscar Hammerstein II, spring “is bustin’ out all over“! Everywhere you look, the birds are chirping, the trees are in full leaf, and the flowers are glorious. Especially the roses.

If you live in a Woodland apartment complex like Tandem Properties‘ Westgate Village and don’t have a rose garden of your own, we have the perfect way for you to get your rose fix.

Garden enthusiasts, both those with dirt under their fingernails and their cleaner bloom-sniffing counterparts, all over Yolo County will be lining up in Woodland this Sunday, April 28th for the Woodland Library Rose Club’s 22nd Annual Garden Tour. The program will includes tours of two gardens in the Yolo County community of Wild Wings, two in the city of Woodland, and one in the city of Davis. It will be open from 12:00-5:00 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for youth and can be purchased in advance with a credit card on the Rose Club’s new online store. The tour starts at the library’s courtyard, 250 Court St., Woodland.
