Graffiti Abatement Volunteers Sought

Are you looking for a way to give back to your community and have a lot of fun at the same time? Grab your paintbrush and your roommate or friend.

The Davis Police Department is actively recruiting volunteers to help remove and/or paint over graffiti in our public parks and property. As we all know, graffiti is obnoxious and a visual blight that is detrimental to our neighborhoods. Community members as young as 13, neighborhood groups, and business owners are all encouraged to help out.

The Davis Police Department will be hosting an information meeting on the Graffiti Abatement Program and how you can participate on Thursday, February 13th at 6:00 PM at the Davis Police Department; 2600 Fifth St. Davis. You may also sign up by contacting Volunteer Coordinator Kellie Vitaich [email protected] (530)747-5419 or Code Enforcement Officer Taylor Klisiewicz [email protected] (530)747-5446.
