Students get HALF PRICE Modavi tickets Wednesday September 26th

Half-Price Tickets on Sale to UC Davis Students Sept. 26 For Sold-Out Mondavi Center Shows

DAVIS, CALIF.—On Wednesday, September 26, 2012 The Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the
Performing Arts, UC Davis will release held tickets to UC Davis students between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The Mondavi Center holds back up to 10 percent of the house for each Jackson Hall performance that
would otherwise sell out during the subscription phase. More information about the events in the 2012–13 season is available at mondaviarts.org.

“We feel it is important for all students to have the opportunity to see the performances that interest
them during our 10th anniversary season,” said Mondavi Center marketing director Rob Tocalino.

“Many of our more popular events sell out before students arrive on campus. We want to make sure that they don’t miss out.”

UC Davis students can buy tickets at the Mondavi Center Ticket Office with their student I.D. First year freshman, graduate and transfer students each receive one free ticket during their first year. This offer is good for any Mondavi Center Presents program and UC Davis Department of Music and Department of Theatre and Dance event. All students receive 50 percent off ticket prices. Only one ticket per student I.D. can be purchased at half price for each event.

“The student on-sale date is a great opportunity for students to get tickets to high demand shows like Lang Lang, Eddie Izzard, Yo-Yo Ma and Joshua Bell,” said Tocalino.

Tickets to the high-demand events should be purchased in person at the Mondavi Center Ticket Office between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. on September 26. Any tickets that are not sold on that day will be released for sale to the general public.

Tickets for the 2012–13 Mondavi Center season are on sale now at 866-754-2787 and at mondaviarts.org.
